SRJC Community Education on hiatus for restructure

The Community Education program is on an indefinite hiatus to allow us to rebuild the lifelong learning program at Santa Rosa Junior College. This hiatus will allow us the needed time to develop a sustainable way to deliver these courses and to continue to provide quality enrichment programs to the Sonoma County community. Our thanks to you all for your patience during this process.

OLDER ADULTS PROGRAM

Santa Rosa Junior College offers free, noncredit courses designed specifically for active older adults. Our Older Adult Program courses provide opportunities for personal growth and development, group interaction, mental stimulation, and physical activity. There is no minimum age requirement; courses are tailored toward older adults.

ADULT EDUCATION

The Sonoma County Regional Adult Education Programs provide access to local education, and help adult students to:

  • Gain skills through Short-Term Career Education courses
  • Get a high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Take English as a Second Language courses

EDUCATIONAL TRAVEL

The SRJC Multicultural Museum partners with Collette, the oldest tour company in the US - in operation since 1918!  Together, we have explored Vietnam, Scotland, Australia, Costa Rica, Kenya, South Africa, Spain, and much more. Travel with a local group to places you have always wanted to visit.

Trips start in Santa Rosa and are guided by experienced tour managers the whole way through. Every detail is planned for you, including many meals, and excursions. Rest easy knowing that hassle-fee travel insurance is included.
