SRJC's Office of Community & Contract Education offers a variety of programs to the community. Our core functions are:
Our flagship program is Community Education, represented by a full catalog of enrichment courses offered not-for-credit, and open to the public. We provide a wide-ranging portfolio of courses to meet the varied interests of lifelong learners in the community. Our classes are all not-for-credit (no grades or tests) and are typically short-term. College admission is not required to sign up for Community Education courses.
The Community Education program is a self-supporting entity of Santa Rosa Junior College and is not funded by taxpayer dollars. Course registration fees pay for all costs associated with our courses. Click here to browse courses.
Also known as Workforce Training, our Contract Education program allows us to work with employers all over Sonoma County to develop customized training and enrichment programs. If you are interested in working with SRJC to customize a training program for your workforce or constituency, please click here to learn more and fill out our intake form.
In addition to the above, we partner with diverse organizations to offer a wide range of not-for-credit educational opportunities in alignment with the mission of SRJC. From summer camps to driver safety; online learning to concert and lecture series, and even travel, our full array of partner programs can be viewed from the Community & Contract Education home page.
